He is survived by: his son Bryan Alan Bernard; Linda of Chicago, Patricia Annette Bernard of Houston, Rachel Kathryn Bernard, Daniel Robert Bernard and Hannah Ruth Bernard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
