Ross R. Ruland Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2025, at the age of 85, Ross R. Ruland (Houston, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Maurice Boyd Ruland and Mary Ellen O'Neill Ruland; his son Todd Hunter Ruland; his grandson Hayden Randall Hughey; and his siblings, Nancy Strong and Stephen Ruland (Steve).

He is survived by: his wife Jean Natalie Holtzman; his children, Tracy Ruland-Hughey and Kim (Clinton Rodgers); his grandchildren, Shelby (Austin Phelps), Tyler Hughey and Samuel David Rodgers; his great grandchildren, Ryan Hughey, Walker Phelps and Miley Phelps; his children, Joy Horn, Evelyne and James Simpson; his grandchildren, Hannah and Jack Simpson; and his siblings, Michael Ruland, Boyd Ruland (Sheila Ruland) and Kelly Moul. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
