He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Koster and Nathan Koster; and his sister-in-law Betty Raleigh. He is survived by: his wife Ann Johnson Koster; his siblings-in-law, Danna Piazza, Albert Piazza and Charles Richard "Rick" Raleigh; his nephews, Stephen and John Raleigh; and his cousins, Charles Mintzer and Susan Rein.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Houston Hospice or Ronald McDonald House charities.
