With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shelly D. Allen in Houston, Texas, born in Forsyth, Montana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shelly left this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Shelly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shelly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her children, Chip Allen, Amy Allen Frizzell and Jennifer Allen Prasifka. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles Wesley Allen; her sons-in-law, Jean Frizzell and Matt Prasifka; and her grandchildren, Storey Frizzell, Charlie Frizzell (Nicole), Jake Frizzell, Ben Prasifka and Addy Prasifka.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (15500 El Camino Real, Houston, TX 77062).
