He was predeceased by: his father David Carpenter; and his grandparents, Robert, Izora Bugher, Norman and Myrtle Carpenter.
He is survived by: his mother Roberta Carpenter; his children, Morgan Carpenter and Dillon Carpenter of Houston Texas; his sister Jana Bobeck Kahlich (Paul); his nephews, Walter Bobeck (Amanda) and Robert Bobeck (Dana); his great-niece Annabelle Bobeck; his great-nephews, Walker, Anthony (AJ) and Drew Bobeck; and his cousins, David Stem, Bobby Stem, Andy Stem and Cynthia Reager.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made in Steven's name to the National Kidney Foundation http://www.kidney.org.
