It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stewart A. Shapiro of Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Shapiro and Lena Silberman Shapiro; and his brother Donald Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Glenda "Gigi" Shapiro; his daughter Tena E. Swart; and his grandson Brent W. Peate. He is also survived by his niece, two nephews, and many cousins.
