She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Bell (Eddie B Sampson) and Albert Breaux Jr.; her husband Donava Strange; her daughter Janet Belinda Breaux; her brother Eddie B Sampson Jr.; her children, Darlene Ferris-Newton and Troy Charles Ferris Jr.; her sisters, Eddie Mae Gatlin (Audrey), Willie Lee Hewitt (Willie) and Velma Grace McVade (Nathaniel); and her brothers-in-law, Calvin Breaux and Forest Busby (Sweet).
She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Breaux-Harris (Donald), Arden David Breaux (Joycelyn), Marshall Wayne Breaux (Wilma), James Curtis Breaux (Theresa), Cabreatha Breaux Thomas (Tyree), Lottie Jean O'Banion and Bernice "Bonny" Blackmon; and her sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" Busby and Clarice Sampson-Breaux. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
