He was predeceased by: his brother John Jones (Elsie M. Jones). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Wilton Mitchell (Mary), Hester Mitchell Donald R. (Bernard), Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell (Angel), Benjamin Mitchell (Bonita) and Shonnell Mitchell-Berry (Kenny); and his niece Claudette Lewis.
