She was predeceased by: her husband David Garza Jr.; her parents, Nato Ruffo and Marie Ruffo; her sisters, Frances McAdams and Carmela Garcia; and her granddaughter Mimianne Johansson.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Ava Jewel, Escher and Shelbie; her daughters, Christine Rayburn (Chuck), Rosalind Johansson (Eddie) and Diana VanHootegem (Tom); her sisters, Josie Alexander, Katie Urdahl and Rosemary Ruffo Leonard; her grandchildren, Corbin Rayburn, Eddie Johansson IV (Ricki), Ashley Crump (Tavis) and Cara Johnson (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Elle Rayburn, Ava Jewel Johansson, Eddie Escher Johansson V, William, Nicholas, Christopher Crump and Arlo Johnson. She is also survived by her daughters and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She endured her ten-year battle against Alzheimer's with grace, courage and dignity.
