It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon O. Hayes (Houston, Texas), who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Hayes; his daughter Laura Walker; his son-in-law Jamie Walker; his grandchildren, Julia Hadjistavrou (Nick), Joshua Walker (Abby) and Jacob Walker; and his great grandchild Eleanor Walker.
