She was predeceased by : her husband Francisco Gonzalez Sr.; her parents, Luciano Gomez and Maria Gomez; and her sister Berta G. Jalomo. She is survived by : her children, Jeanie G. Avila (Joe), Frank Gonzales (Lupita), Rita Gonzales and Ana Vento (Bob); her grandchildren, Julianna Leal, Joe Frank Avila, Rene Avila, Yuliza Avila, Ydalia M. Gonzales, Angelina Carrizales, Gabriella Carrizales, Daniella Carrizales and Javier Vento; and her siblings, Francisco Gomez (Elvia), Bernabe Gomez, Beatriz Gonzalez (Cristobal), Teodoro, Luciano Gomez and Graciela Castaneda (Frank). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (26170 TX-345, San Benito, TX 78586). Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
