It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie James Jr. of Houston, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James and Elnora James; his daughter Beatrice James Aruya; his siblings, Beulah, Delores, Eleanor Mae, Flossie, Vesta Mae, James, Leroy, Samuel and Walter Charles; and his great grandchildren, Tevis and Xavier.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred James; his children, Maggie Allen, Willie Lean Scott, Jo Ann Grice and Michael Ray James; and his stepchildren, Mildred Wyatt, Gene Wyatt and Monica Chandler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
