It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Weems of Huffman, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Genevieve Wheeler Adams and Arthur K. Adams Sr.; her grandsons, Josh Cheuka (Shuler) and Ashe Vige; and her siblings, Arthur Adams, Margie Sweeney and Betty Bennett.

She is survived by : her children, Gail Shuler (Dwight), Michelene Weems, Rhonda Vige' and Brad Weems (Steve); her grandchildren, Amber Barfield (Tim), Coby Vige' and Philip Shuler (Tessia); her great grandchild Joshua Bowers; and her great great grandchild Louie Bowers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
