He was predeceased by: his parents, Will D. Loyd and Janie Loyd; and his spouse Gaynelle Hackler. He is survived by: his sisters, Martha Breedlove of Lumberton and Nancy Loyd of Daingerfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
