She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Ledesma and Sara Ledesma; her grandsons, Benito Hernandez and Reuben David Mendoza; and her former husband Jose P. Hernandez.

She is survived by: her children, Juanita Villafuerte (Abel) of Houston, Texas, Joseph Hernandez Jr. of San Benito, Texas, Sarita Gonzalez (Jose) of Missouri City, Texas, Sylvia Carranza (Magdiel) of Houston, Texas and Nina Robey (Steven) of Magnolia, Texas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home (21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Hill Cemetery (21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338).
