It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Skillern (Humble, Texas), born in Troup, Texas, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Patti Lynn; and his siblings, Charles Leo Skillern of Kentucky, Ethlene Matteson and Joyce Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Dean of Lovelady; his granddaughters, Sarah Lynn Stewart (Kyle Stewart) of Conroe, Jenna Lynn Skillern of Humble and Kathryn Myers of Richardson, Texas.; his brother Roy Glenn Skillern of Katy, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Sgt. Rebecca Skillern. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law; brothers-in-laws and many beloved nieces and nephews.
