She was predeceased by : her parents, Agnes Thrailkill and Bill Raines; her son Daniel Alvin Bridges; and her siblings, Valearie Sausage, Mattie Fae Emerick and Acie J. Raines.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Branton (Lee), Edna Terrell of Huntington, Shirley Slaughter of Huntington, Mary Bardwell (Bill) and Arthur Bridges of Huntington; her daughter-in-law Regina Bridges; her brother Charles Raines of Lufkin; her grandson Andrew Herring; and her great grandchild Hunter Lightfoot. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
