She was predeceased by : her parents, Lottie Hicks and John Leonard Murphey; her husband Bailey Lindsay; her grandson Jon Gilley; and her siblings, Loye White, J. L. Murphy and Edna White.

She is survived by : her children, Darleen (Rickie Gilley), Deborah Richardson of Marshall, Donna (Jim Scullion) and Thomas "Scooter" (Sandy Hamilton); her brother Ladon White of Lufkin; and her grandchildren, Janiece, Jenni, Chris, Joe, Larson, Sandra, Lindsay, Heather and Thomas. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
