It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Bauer of Huntsville, Texas, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Finch and Viola Finch; her sister LaNette; her brother-in-law Dean Norman; her brother Edwin "Bud"; her sister-in-law Mary Finch; and her brother David Finch.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Bauer; her children, Catherine McCarthy (Jamie) of Sumter, Christopher Bauer (Dawn) of Ellendale, Elizabeth Cobler (Phillip) of Huntsville and Denise Brown (Jeffrey) of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Andrew, Lacy Johanson, Hanna Johanson, Luke Bauer, Amy Chamblis, Samuel Bauer, Amanda Bauer, Cole Bauer, Maddie Stewart (Joshua), Jodi Cobler, Colton Cobler, Kelly, Bassam Oshiba and Mia Smith; her great grandchildren, Henley, Owen, Asher, Hailey Marie, Aubree Michelle, Cayden and Evie Jo; her sibling's children, Jeff, Bobby, Diane, Laurel, Sharon, Suzanne and Maryanne; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Finch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria's name to one of her favorite charities.
