It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Doyle Davis (Huntsville, Texas), who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father Davis, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Leroy Barrett and Mary Barrett; and his brother-in-law Mark Hendon. He is survived by : his sons, J. D., Huntsville and University Heights Baptist Church; his wife Vicki Barrett Davis; his son Bart Davis; his daughter-in-law Kathy Davis; his grandchildren, Allison and Carson Davis; his son Brad Davis; his daughter-in-law Molly Davis; his grandchildren, Mia, Libby and Dylan Davis; his siblings, Dan Stephen Davis, Deborah Lynn Davis and Donna Davis Gilbert (John Gilbert); his siblings-in-law, Becky Hendon, Sherrie and Adam Young; and also Esther Ellisor Davis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, J.D. would have insisted donations be made to the Walker County Senior Center, 340 State Highway 75 N, Huntsville, TX 77320.
