It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathryn Barecky of Huntsville, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bobby Joe Dunaway and Mary Lou Dunaway; her husband James Barecky; her siblings, Lana Vaughn, Millicent Dunaway, Thomas Dunaway and Richard Dunaway; her niece Keisha Hernandez; and her brother-in-law Tommy Vaughn.

She is survived by : her daughter Holly Barecky of Huntsville, TX; and her siblings, Lisa Cathey (Danny) of Groveton, TX, Jeannie Odom (Johnny Carroll) of Point Blank, TX and Joe Dunaway (Dee) of Orangburg, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
