With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Lynn Carter of Huntsville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her father Doyle Henry Barkley. She is survived by: her mother Louise Johnson Barkley; her pets, Lacie and Sadie; her husband Mike Carter; her sons, Randy Wilson (Devon Wilson), Dustin Carter (Tara Carter) and Chad Carter; her grandchildren, Ryder Wilson, Georgia Carter, Dalton Carter, Houston Carter and Corbin Carter; and her uncle Wayne Johnson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Huntsville (1700 Normal Park Dr, Huntsville, TX 77340). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Petree Cemetery.
