We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2025, at the age of 53, Slyvia Rodriguez of Huntsville, Texas, born in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Slyvia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Slyvia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her sister Micaela Joyner. She is survived by: her sons, Johnathan Mikeska and Joshua Mikeska; and her siblings, Royell Rodriguez, Cindy Rodriguez, Roy Rodriguez, Ana McDow (David), Michael Rodriguez (Jennifer), Monica Bowman (Teddy) and Alex Rodriguez (Monica). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home - Huntsville (672 FM 980, Huntsville, TX 77320). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brooke Cemetery (672 FM 980, Huntsville, TX 77320).
