She was predeceased by: her sons, Stephen L. Hale and Glenn W. Hale; her brother Doyel S. Guillory; her stepsister Mary Alice Craddock; and her great grandchild Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth D. Hale (Terry) of Irving, TX, Edie H. Flanagin and Joyce H. Nichols (Hank) of Parker, CO.; her brothers, Charles J. Schmidt (Caroline) of Diboll, TX, Jerry L. Schmidt and Jim W. Schmidt; her close friend John MacWhorter; her daughter Sheryl; and her son-in-law Paul Burek of Colleyville. She is also survived by extended family includes many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
