He was predeceased by: his father Larry Lionel Nearn; and his grandfather James "Jim" Richards. He is survived by: his mother Linda Marie Nearn (Richards); his grandmother Beverly Richards; his brothers, Bill Nearn, Phillip Nearn, James Nearn, Toby Buchanan and Brian Nearn; and his uncle Mark Richards (Lielane).
