It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Betty Grace Bell (Irving, Texas), who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her significant other Doug Henson; and her grandchildren, Zakary Widener and Scott Christopher Hendrie. She is survived by : her children, James Forrest Widener III and Stephanie Sue Widener Hendrie; her son-in-law Christopher Pennywitt Hendrie; her grandchildren, James Forrest Widener IV, Whitney O. Widener, Wolfgang Widener, Alyssa Belle Hendrie and Tessa Marie Hendrie; and her great grandchildren, James Forrest Widener V, William Eugene Widener, Jocelyn Reese Widener and Henry Oliver Thomas Widener. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chism-Smith Funeral Home (403 S Britain Rd, Irving, TX 75060). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060).
