It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Belmont (Ivanhoe, Texas), born in Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his brother David of St. Louis; and his parents, Ernest Belmont and Dorothy Belmont of Aurora, IL.. He is survived by : his wife Carol; his mother-in-law Jean Hayashi; his children, Jamie of Lynden, WA and Jim Jr. of Ferndale, WA.; and his stepdaughter Erin of Portland, OR.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He will be missed by family, friends and his dogs." Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.
