He was predeceased by : his parents, O'Rastus P. Walden and Ruby Randell Walden; his wife Inez Almeta Walden; and his siblings, Johnny, Decky, Dorothy, Pete, Georgie and Deanie.

He is survived by : his children, Jimmy Walden (Linda), Rocky Walden (Patricia) and Jan Walden; and his siblings, Bobby Walden and Faye Wofford.
