He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiedner Spillers and Clara Spillers; and his sisters, Rita Lord, Beverly Phipps and Helen Spillers.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Spillers of Jacksonville; his children, Zachary Spillers of Denver, Matthew Roy (Stacey) of Austin, Shane Spillers (Jana) of Dallas, Holly Lawson (Bill) of Waller, Allan Ray Joy of Austin, Penny McClain Spillers of Los Angeles and Laura Harsey Spillers of Los Angeles; and his brother William P. Spillers of Shreveport. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
