She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Shairrick and Mildred Shairrick; and her sisters, Pansy Hammonds and Hilda Shairrick. She is survived by : her family Bonnie; her husband Merle Maxwell of Jacksonville; her children, Greg Maxwell (Linda) of Jacksonville, Sherri McDonald (Kevin) of Jacksonville, Heather Eason (Scott) of White Oak, Amber Severson (Jason) of Wylie and Matt Maxwell (Brandi) of Pearland; and her sister Ruby Banks of Tyler. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
