He was predeceased by : his parents, Byrd Sr. Menard and Florence Menard (Gale); his son Ward Lewis Menard; and his grandson Mitchell Lewis Menard. He is survived by : his wife Claude Elaine Menard of Jacksonville; his son Darryl Menard (Stacey) of Seabrook; his siblings, Rosemarie Shannon of Jacksonville, Marilyn Almon (Clay) of Orlando and Terrence Lee Menard of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Michael Christopher Menard (Lauren) and Abbey Elaine Menard; and his great grandchild Benjamin Lewis Menard. He is also survived by several niece, nephews and cousins.
