He was predeceased by: his father Wyndel Cummins; and his son Derrick Cummins. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Cummins; his wife Diane Cummins; his children, Ellen Brookhart (Brandon) and Austin Ballard; and his siblings, Mike (Carol) and Wendy Tynan.
His last act of kindness was to donate his body to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation.
