With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel D Dubose (Jacksonville, Texas), who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Clara Dillehay (Buckley) and Guy W. Dillehay; and her sister Doris. She is survived by : her husband Captain Robert T. DuBose (Rob); her children, Marcia DuBose, Robert DuBose and Michael DuBose (Ann); her grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, Kimberly and Torre; her great grandchildren, Colten, Nikola, Rachel and Hendrix; her brother-in-law John DuBose (Susan); and her nieces and nephews, Lisa DuBose (Kathy), Madeline Williams (Darrin), Ethan Ashalintubbi, Mark DuBose (Brittan) and Charles Jones (Glenda).
Once the pandemic has sufficiently abated, the family hopes to host an open gathering to celebrate her life and honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Hazel may be made to The Homeplace Hospice of East Texas, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (both in Tyler TX), The Society of St. Vincent Depaul USA, or to the charity of your choice.
