It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Faye George of Jacksonville, Texas, born in Freer, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Tera N. Singley and Mary Estalene Lancaster Singley; her husband Dannie E. George of Jacksonville; her nephew Craig Nelson; and her sons-in-law, Raymond Anderson and Russell Richards.

She is survived by : her siblings, Dana Nelson (Merle) and Ronny Singley (Sara); her brother-in-law Freddie C. George; and her daughters, Debra Richards, Denise Sanders (Chuck), Diane McSwain and Dina George. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
