He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Floyd and Mary Dennis; and his brothers, Earnest Dennis, Lawrence Dennis and Roman Dennis.
He is survived by: his sister Archa B. Johnson; his former wife Gwendolyn Stafford; his children, Royce Ray Dennis, Jr. (Canary) and Floretta Curly (David); his wife Pam Baker; and his children, Shadaria Hatton (Terry), Shane Baker and Shannon Baker. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rosewood's Family Tribute Center (536 N Jackson St, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Benson Memorial (902 Ellis St, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Pine Grove Cemetery (7025 County Rd 1804, Jacksonville, TX 75766).
