He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton Myers and Mattie Bell Myers; his siblings, James Earl Myers and Dorothy; and his brother-in-law Alfred Ray Roberson.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Oddie Powell, Andy Prewitt, Jimmy Turner and Denise Prewitt. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
