He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sullivan Brown and Floy Blake Brown. He is survived by: his wife Jo Evelyn Brown; his children, Douglas Dalton Brown Jr. (Kristy Lewis) and Donna D'Ann Garner (Alpha Garner); his siblings, Betsy Brown, Fannie Brown and Ruben Brown; his grandchildren, Jason Brown (Marsha), Benjamin Brown (Rachel), Daniel Brown (Shadai), Hannah Taylor (Austin), Patrick Mease, Kalan Guillory (Shannon) and Deric Kantz; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Logan, Evelyn, Julia, Bannon, Haze, Liam, Olivia, O'Sirus, Bonnie, William, Robin and Anna.
