Jackie Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2021, at the age of 76, Jackie Long of Jasper, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Waymon Miller; and her parents, O. D. Kerr and Laura Kerr. She is survived by: her husband Jasper Long; her daughters, Stevilyn Ortiz (Paul) of Yardley and Laurie Holland (Paul) of Douglass, Texas; her stepchildren, Wayne Long (Dena) of Baytown and Cindy Woods of Jasper; her grandchildren, Joshua Ortiz, Zachary Ortiz, Grant Holland, Jared Holland, Kaylin Long, Peyton Woods and Josie Woods; and her brother Stephen Kerr (Catherine). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In an effort to protect each other from COVID-19 infection we ask that you comply with CDC Social Distancing Guidelines as well as Governor Greg Abbott's request that a face covering be utilized before entering this facility. Funerals are currently a public event being held during the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Curtis United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 2472, Jasper, Texas 75951 Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
