Nancy Pickering Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Pickering of Jasper, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert "Rayburn" Pickering, Sr.; her parents, L. W. Stringer and Bertha Stringer; her stepmother Lillie Stringer; her grandson Skyler; and her brother Ruben Stringer.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Pickering, Jr. (Melba) of Jasper, Rodney Pickering (Becky) of Jasper, Keith Pickering of Jasper, Texas and Sandra Melancon (Randy) of Sulphur, Louisiana; her sister Reba Gary of Harrisburg, Texas; her grandchildren, James Pickering, Jennifer Bronson, Brandi Schroer, Paul Pickering, Luke Pickering, Coley Persons, Shelby Pickering and Maddye Pickering; and her great grandchildren, Shay, Micah, Isaiah, Kaley, Axel, Micaela, Aliyah, Bobby and Emersyn.
To protect each other from COVID-19 infection we ask that you comply with CDC Social Distancing Guidelines as well as Governor Greg Abbott's request that a face covering be utilized before entering this facility. Funerals are currently a public event being held during the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
