He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Ann Joyner; and his parents, Lydia Joyner and C. L. Joyner. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Dorbritz (Barry); his grandsons, Kaysin and Mason Brandt; his siblings, Karen Smith (David), Bubba Joyner (Debbie), Paul Joyner (Linda) and Tommy Joyner (Nancy); and his close friends, Thomesia, Warren and Lisa Doyle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
