He is survived by: his children, Curtis Ellis of Jefferson, Eureker Jackson of Vivian and Cathlene Smith of Houston; and his sisters, Margaret Gross of Conroe, Earsirene Hodge of Los Angeles, La Joyce Booth of San Francisco and Mye Carolyn Oats of Dallas. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
