It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Alexander Nichols of Jefferson, Texas, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Nichols and Alice Prarie Nichols; his close friend Faye Allen; his sisters, Colleen and Betty Jean; and his granddaughter Jennifer Nichols.

He is survived by : his children, Timothy Nichols, Marcy Ard, Penny Timmons (Vern), Mary Stuard (Keith) and Joanne Bradshaw (Amy); and his siblings, Elias Nichols and Edith Rising. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
