With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorthey Davis (Joaquin, Texas), born in Logansport, Louisiana, who passed away on July 25, 2019 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son Dane Parker; her parents, William Alonzo Blount and Dorthey Christine McKnight Blount; her sisters, Carolyn Ruth Blount and Margaret Ann Blount; and her niece Rachael Moton.

She is survived by : her husband Mike Davis of Joaquin; her daughters, Tina Mazie (Myron) of Joaquin, Rachel Everett (Bubba) of Tenaha and Shannon Davis of Loveland, Colorado; her grandchildren, Heaven Umbrell (Wesley), Whitney Witt (Trinity), Coby Davis, Dean Parker, Alisa Mazie, Skylar Herbison, Tesla Mazie, Trystan Herbison and Aiden Davis; her great grandchildren, Braylin, Wrigley and Kalen Umbrell; and her siblings, Julie Moton of Joaquin and Larmie Blount of Joaquin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
