He is survived by : his wife Diana Covarrubiaz; his children, Diego (Idalia), Joaquin Jr. (MaryLou), Carrie Adame (Roy), Ruby Gonzalez-Valdez (Chris), Alfonso (Patty), Sonia Covarrubiaz-Holland, Kenny (Vanessa) and Benjamin Gonzalez; and his grandchildren, Idalia, David of Sydney, CJ, Jackie, Jason, Eli, Savannah, Noah, Kiarra, Tres, Katya, Justin, Jalen, Brittany, Angel, Hannah, Gavin, Aedon, Kevan, Korbin, Kory, Sienna, Madison and Baby Benjamin. He is also survived by 5 siblings.
