We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2019, at the age of 70, Roy Byrd (Joaquin, Texas) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Byrd to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Byrd and Ruby Moore Byrd Billingsley; and his brother William Byrd. He is survived by : his children, Chester Byrd (Katie) of Nacogdoches, Roy Byrd Jr. of Joaquin, Viola Byrd of Joaquin, Casey Robison of Center, Teresa Chardt (Dean) of Arkansas and Delisa Carroll; his siblings, Weldon Byrd of Gary, Lenard Wayne Byrd of Carthage and Mattie Lee of Gary; and his nieces and nephews, Dusten Byrd, Lucas "Booger" Byrd, Mason Byrd and Skylar Harvey. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
