It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Solon Ponder (Joaquin, Texas), who passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Solon Ponder to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Solon Ponder and Fleta Ponder; his children, Dale Ponder (Marinna), Debra Goodwin of Nevada and Kaye Nealy of Washington; his wife Betty Evelyn Ponder; and his son Michael Wayne Ponder. He was also cherished by 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Jackson Baptist church of Joaquin.
