He was predeceased by : his parents, John T. Keene and Helen Mae Auge Keene of San Antonio, TX.. He is survived by : his wife Cynthia Louise Keene; his daughters, Christine Keene Simcox (Jobe H. Simcox), Ella May Arnel (Michael Arnel) and Anabelle Keene (Stephen M. Brotherman); his grandchildren, Madeline Audrey Farrell, Connor Austin Farrell, Kingston Edward Rudd and Sawyer David Rudd; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Mauzé (Jean Mauzé) and John T. Keene Jr. (Cathy Keene).
