It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Peveto Whittington of Johnson City, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Desmond Jefferies "D. J." Whittington. She is survived by : her sons, Gordon Whittington (Catherine) and Sam Whittington (Gail); her grandchildren, Jason, Luke and Rilee; and her sister Faye Paules. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and many dear friends.
