John Rider Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2020, at the age of 92, John Rider of Johnson City, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Henry and Lorene Agnes Meek Rider; his grandfathers, John Allen Rider I and John Meek; his wife Audrey Baker; his children, Michelle Renee and John Allen Rider III; his brother Marvin; his sister-in-law Helen Rider; his sister Maebelle; his brother-in-law Clifford Hanan; his children-in-law, Edward Brown of Waco, Texas and Kelli Rider of College Grove, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, William Brown, Catherine Brown, Lauren Brown of Waco, Texas, Hannah Rider and John Rider IV of College Grove, Tennessee. He was also cherished by two nephews, four nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northwestern Oklahoma University Foundation.
