He is survived by: his wife Lu Ann Simmons (Curtis); his children, Charles Ryan Simmons, Rusty Allen Boyd (Hailey), Ashley Ann Woolf, Chase Robert Simmons (Kari) and Laurie Lee Simmons; his grandchildren, Brenden Lee Boyd, Bryce Anthony Boyd, Wyatt Lee Woolf, Lane Dalton Woolf and Chandler Charles Simmons; and his siblings, Deborah Jane Simmons D'Annunzio, William Howard Simmons, Tina Ann Bolejack (Rodney), Michael Derek Bray and Michelle Roberta Post (Larry).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mountain Valley Funeral Home (3407 SW Wilshire Blvd, Joshua, TX 76058). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Caddo Cemetery (6700 FM1902, Joshua, TX 76058).
